2004 BMW X5, 4.4i White w/ Grey Leather, 100K FULL SERVICE WARRANTY!! Hi, I have a 2004 White 4.4 V8 X5 for sale. This is a one owner car, and is in like new condition. It comes with $6,000 in Transferable Warranties. There is the original 100k extended Warranty, and on top of that there is a service warranty untill 100k as well. In case you dont know what that means, the ONLY thing that you will EVER have to pay for is tires. The dealer will fix everything from Brakes to oil changes for FREE!! It currently has 44,000 miles. This car has always been dealer maintained, with oil changes every 3,000 miles. Never in any accidents. It is fully loaded, Sunroof, CD player, Power everything, 19" wheels, 4 - wheel drive ect.... It has been Adult Woman owned and driven since new. Bought from Roseville BMW. The car has Grey interior, and light woodgrain trim. Please give me call if you would like to ask more questions or if you would like to see more detailed pictures. I have Priced the car below Kelly Blue Book Private party value for a timely sale. $29,900 is an Excellent Price for this BMW with The best possibe warranty. |

Price looks good, Warranty looks good, Milage looks good.
White with Grey Interior and light woodgrain trim-- (me personally I don't like the color combination, but someone might like just that combination) The description of the package is very vague. What is fully loaded? Sunroof, CD, Power everything was a description of 1990's. Right now the seller needs to specify the package completely. Is there a Navigation, is it a Cold Weather Package (Heated Seats, Headlight Washers) and some other stuff, what kind of seats it has (i.e Sport Seats, Regular Seats, Comfort Seats) all of that adds a value to a car. Is there a Park Distance Control in the car? Is there a Panoramic Roof. These are just some questions you might want to ask the seller. Do some research and see what package you might want or can afford to buy. Just my .02 PS. Also I think the seller forgot what kind of car he is selling. Oil changes on this car are done every 10-15,000 miles not every 3,000 as he/she stated. Last edited by blk133; 03-26-2008 at 12:41 PM. |

What does power everything mean and fully loaded respresent? Does it have the packages: sport, cold weather, entertainment, etc...? Panoramic roof, nav? These things which were not stated all factor into the value of the car...
I may be wrong here but i highly DOUBT the car had oil changes every 3000 miles if this is what the dealer is telling you. Dealers dont change your oil that often unless the owner wants to schedule an appointment, drop off the car and PAY FOR IT when its outside its scheduled interval. Based on mileage and CPO (assuming its coming from the dealer and not an aftermarket warranty). The price is fair but not a steal of a deal... If you want to see a loaded 4.4, you can come check out mine. be glad to walk you through all the features. |

Sounds like a good deal if it is really fully loaded. I just sold mine (same year & mileage) for $32K without the extended warranty & maintenance. Mine was fully loaded except for just two options - front air suspension and sliding load floor. Good luck!

Thanks for the comments. Here's what I can share.
First, I'm really not a fan of white cars but I'm living in a brutally hot climate and think white would be the best by far. Also, with kids and a dog, don't you think a darker leather would be better than tan? As for the features: No Navigation No Cold Weather Package (Heated Seats, Headlight Washers) seats unsure of the style Yes on Park Distance Control in the car? Regular sunroof. Isn't the Panoramic Roof just in the 6 cyl sports X5. What made me especially excited about this was the warrenty. Where else can I get the service warrenty because that seems invaluable. No? I so appreciate the help. Keep the replies coming. Thanks |

Make sure the warranties he is talking about are the Extended warranty FROM BMW (to 6 years/100,000 miles) which for you will really be just 2 more years, and the Extended Maintenance (to 6 years/100,000 miles) which again for you will only be for 2 more years.
You said they bought it from Roseville BMW. Where was it maintained? Get a printout of it's entire maintenance history from the dealer(s). Low mileage for 4 years old, so that's good. What is the production date? If it's still under the 4 year/50,000 mile warranty, get it to the dealer ASAP to fix ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you can before it runs out. Original tires? How's the thread, wear, etc? White wouldn't be my first choice but it isn't too bad on an X5 IMO. Also I personally can't stand the grey interior option on a BMW and I'd never even consider one in that color, but if you like it (and it doesn't already appear filthy) then go for it. Quote:
