New Style 214's installed

Just picked up an 06 4.4i with 29k miles for my wife and so far we love it! (Black/Black, Sport pkg, cold climate pkg, comfort seats, NAV, 19" sport wheels, etc).

We always put custom wheels on our cars, but I was having one heck of a time deciding what to do with the X. After searching the forums, I came to the same conclusion that many others have - BMW makes some of the best looking wheels for this car that I have ever seen from a manufacturer and I was unable to find any aftermarket wheels that I preferred. This is the first time that has ever happened!

So we decided to go with the 20" 214's from the new E70, but then another strange thing happened... I wanted them in chrome

I can't explain it, I usually hate chrome as it is way too for my tastes, but it seemed to be just the right amount of 'show' to go with an all black X.

I know a lot of forum members still do not care for chrome - which is certainly each person's prerogative, but I thought I'd share a few before and after pics...
