New Wheels...

Finally got the 20s on the rig yesterday. I took a set of silver Style 87s and had them powdercoated. Got them back earlier this week and installed yesterday.

Very sinister. I wanted to do similar but the wife nixed the idea.

I think those would look better on my black 4.4 sport.

black on black would be the most preferable, but when I was looking for an X a few months back, no black 4.4s were available with the mileage I was looking for, so I settled on the silver. My wife was very supportive in the project (ie, she let me do it). It took about a month from purchase of the wheels to the finished project, and the powdercoating alone took 2 1/2 weeks for all that they did (stripping, powdercoating them once, letting them cure, etc).

Black out grills would compliment the wheels IMO

I've been going back and forth about the black grills...

paint the body to match or get the kit.

powdercoating was about 100/wheel. They had to strip the original finish, then powdercoat, then let it cure, then powdercoat again. The finish is awesome, and if you are on the fence about doing it, do it--it looks great IMO. Thanks for the thoughts on further "blacking" my rig up. I think I will look into the window tinting, black grill, and black rear handle.
