No cons.1 & cons.2, temp and etc. on 16:9 monitor
I had broken picture elements on dash panel om my X5 2003. Picture elements could not be repaired and I decided to change dash panel to another used. All information (VIN, trip and etc) was transferred to another panel. After installation of repaired panel to my X5 everything is working  but problem is in info on 16:9 monitor.There are no info about temperature, consumption, I can't change language, km-miles, can't recalculate average speed and etc. These windows are no active. Therefore no TIME on dash panel. When I put BC button on dash panel I have cons., average speed. All works were made in Moskow and I live in Kazakhstan. Unfortunately no official services of BMW in my city  Please help!!! PS: Sorry for my eng. if I've made many mistakes. Last edited by Albert100; 04-23-2008 at 02:11 AM.

Hey, so you did replace your monitor with another one ?
sorry, i cant help you with your problem, but wanna ask you if you still have the broken monitor? Because i am in search of the monitor faceplate wich goes over the screen and where the buttons come thru, mine is broken, so maybe i can buy it from you for a nice price?
