I just have it as a junk box. Keep my cell phone charger and other assorted items in it.

Sorry to go back to this 5 year old thread. Would anyone have any experience REMOVING THIS FIRST AID KIT BOX? I need to modify the box so that it would house my Blaupunkt DVD Player.

I tried feeling the screws blindly but couldn't detect where they are hence I do not know where to start. Too little space underneath there for my big arms and not to mention my big tummy hinders me from sliding in there :-) hahaha Any information how to simply take it down would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

At the roof of the box, there's a little lever from the bracket that holds the box in place. Disengage the lever by pushing it upwards and the box sides out. Then there are three screws that hold the bracket to the seat.

Success and Failure! - Successfully took out the First Aid Box but Failed to install the DVD player. The DVD unit is too long and even if I cut a hole at the back of the box, the unit will hit the bar that cuts across the chair as well as the wirings for the seat heater

By the way the lever was INSIDE the box. Spent a little time figuring out where the lever was It was dark

Thanks again!

I installed a first aid box under the passenger seat today using these screws. They fit perfectly. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Fullmetaljacket,
Dont know if you went ahead with this?
I initially (about 6 years ago)fitted mine inside the First aid box.My "cheap "DVD player measures W16xL16xH5 and you can see how its fitted.I did some simple plastic welding..

Then I thought I needed some space ,so I fitted it under ,and to, the First aid box.I actually prefer it here and it misses the bar that cuts across the seat.
