Well, they may be back, but their website is still pretty much dead. No links to anything but installation manuals for the old products.
Regardless, I have an S1 with my V1, and love it. Definitely one of the better things I have done with my X5.

Who know what they're up to. Apparently, they'll sell you one if you email them... Last edited by brian5; 04-23-2009 at 04:40 PM. |

He was kind enough to sell me one 8 months ago. Had a limited production run made. Worth the money. Really nice guy. REALLY NICE product. Ingenious. I am working on a clip that fits into the headliner and the V1 holder will screw into. Trying to snug it beside the RVM on the Passenger side. Should be very hard to see up there. No windshield attachments or loose wires. |

They absolutely did come back for a limited production run. You can thank Nabio and myself from M5board for getting him to make a batch.

The website has had the message "StealthOne is no longer available..." (or a similar message) for MANY months now. |

Man I wish you guys would do searches before posting info, that way you'd find what you were looking for and not miss stuff! E55AMG2 and realchef are correct. Here is the deal:1. Stealth One was in business for a while and then eventually did stop production when demand fell off which was a long long time ago.
2. Then due to a very high resurgent demand (M5 board reference, etc) the company prepared for a one time limited production run. They requested interested buyers to contact them via e-mail with the number of units they would want to purchase. After a couple of months to source parts, start assembly, etc. an announcement was made on their pending delivery and purchase price which was $300 + $20 shipping. This was around February 2008 I believe. There was one short delay and then unit were shipped around April 2008. 3. Sales were completed promptly and after a month or two I believe there were some extra units which were offered for something like a $20 discount to get rid of all the stock. They were quickly sold and the site was updated to show that the units are now (again) no longer in production. 4. On rare occasion they come up for sale on ebay. I posted a link for one recently which went unsold (!) and then was relisted and finally sold. See post #2 here: http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum...ealth-one.html 5. From what I was told when I bought mine they will never be made again. Quote:

X5 Meister,
Are you saying that I was incorrect? You have just confirmed that they have not been sold since April 2008 --- that is a year ago. Not sure what sort of case you're trying to make but it sounds like you're confirming my posts...

It seemed like you were saying they were never back, but they were back and now they are no longer back. Not building a case, just clearing up speculation and conjecture.
