Xenon Bulb Replacement 02 X5

my drivers side bulb went bright red a week ago and stayed like that for a few days... couple days ago it went back to normal (bright blue) and the passengers side changed to a lighter creamish color... i ordered two brand new xenon bulbs... can anyone tell me how to install them? i kind of have a general idea but i would like to get some input from pepole who have actualy done this before... Thanks

Disconect all detactable wires from headlight, should be the high beams and blinkers. you need some more room to detach the low beams.

remove 4 screws that attach each headlight, slide out headlights

take off the 3 screws that hold the cap for the lowbeam

take off the cap, unscrew the cap holding the bulb, replace.

Dont let your skin get any oil on the bulbs, use latex gloves if you got them

Do you have to take down the front bumper to get the headlights out?
Or is there enough wiggle room to pull the lights forward to unscrew the headlight covers on the back?
