4.8i Front Bumper Question

I am doing my research on installing the 4.8 front bumper and getting conflicting info. For those who have done the mod on a 3.0, do I need to get new wheel arches/flares with the bumper? And if I put on the Al running board, are those another set of arches/flares?

Some sellers are telling me yes and others no. Don't even know who to believe any more. Thanks.

4.8 bumper: I have done it on a 4.4 but I'm sure it's just the same on the 3.0. I have the headlight washers and PDC so getting the 4.8 bumper was an exact match with the option i had. No need to get new wheel arches to do the 4.8 bumper install.

Alum Running board: I have done this as well, the whole kit comes complete with arches that looks exactly the same as what you currently have and the only difference is it has wider connector part to the side steps. No flares.

4.8 flares: if you want the 4.8 flares, you'll need to buy it separetely as well as buying the flare that attaches to the rear bumper...

Thanks. That's exactly what I thought. Just some salespeople are telling me differently and I don't want to get stuck with parts, pay shipping and re-stocking fee.

So if I just order the 4.8i bumper and Al running board without any flares, they should all fit, correct? Thanks.

You also need to make sure your 3.0 is a 2004 or newer.
