help me figure this out.

When I turn the steering wheel to the left occasionally it makes a clank sound what could that be? Cv joints? And does your steering make a hiss sound if you turn the wheel to far to one side. i
And lastly, how much is it to have you X aligned? Thanks!

This hissing sound is normal. The clank sound is not. Could be the CV joint (most likely) or the upper or lower control arm. A 4-wheel alignment should be around $100.

I doubt it's the CV Joints, more likely the suspension as mentioned above. Take note when it happens (slow or fast speed, forward or backward, does it happen when you change from going forward to reverse, etc.), if you can cause it on-demand that would be very helpful when you take it in to a service center. My experience is if you cannot reproduce the noise for the mechanic they will say they can't find anything wrong (even though there is).
