Yeah it was warm, but I thought the fan would come on regardless...

It sounds like your compressor and fan are working properly then, I'm not sure what else it would be. Maybe there is a blockage and/or some other part isn't working, like the shop said. They should be able to find the problem without getting a new compressor in.

I've never heard of a compressor that engages but doesn't pull, but I guess anything is possible? I ordered a new expansion valve and dessicant for the drier, and will try that first. Hopefully, that will fix it. Thanks for the input!

FSR

Everyone -

I replaced the FSR and now I have powerful air coming out, but I only have AC coming out of the driver side vents and not the passenger side vents. They're blowing out normal to luke warm air.

I had AC out of ALL the vents BEFORE I replaced the FSR. Now I'm stumped?????

Anyone got any ideas on what the problem could be????

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello All,

I just became a member of the FSR Club. Thanks to X5World, I was able to replace the part myself. The only difficulty was getting the wires disconnected from the original FSR. It is quite hard to remove but keep on squeezing the tabs and pulling the wire's bracket, and it will eventually disconnect.

Thanks for ALL of X5World's help.
