blackberry 8830/bluetooth

OK, I have searched and I can get as far as the enter passkey on the phone, but it won't except it..Help. 05,4.4

do you know your cars bluetooth passkey? it should be on the bluetooth module in the trunk if you do not

you're likely entering it wrong, I did it twice (fat fingers + small buttons = lots of blackberry typos)

Mine pass key was changed by the previus owner. so the one on your ulf might not be the right one.
go to a dealer they can change it for you

  • Dealer says system needs to be cleared of previously paired phones. They offered to take care of it.....but it's a long drive. Any ideas how to clear it?

Easy fix! I checked the ulf in the trunk and the passkey # was different than the card they through in with the manuals!

Bonus...first try with the new passkey and I'm good to go.

Read the manual and you will find answer for this one
It is something like when in pairing mode press and hold the voice button in the cardle, and the screen will ask if you want to clear all the paird devices....
