$2,500 for a 150k Warranty?

I just got a quote on my 2000 4.4 with 102,000 miles for an extended warranty on another 150,000 miles (up to 252,000) from Consumer Direct Warranty for only $2,500. Sounds low. Anybody heard of these guys? Covers engine, tranny, drive axles, alternator, all that. Opinions please...

Make sure you get a detailed list of exactly what is covered AND what is not covered.

No, not up to 150k, and ADDITIONAL 150k. In other words, up to 252k. Anybody heard of these guys?

Hmmmmm seems awfully cheap - have a look at how much comparable coverage would be at a known entity like warranty direct.

If it sounds too good to be true.......

Based on those terms, if I did only 10K miles a year I would get full coverage for 15 more years for $2,500 - sign me up!!!

I would think there would be a time clause as well on this. If not, WOW

I agree, something doesn't add up here...

It does sound WAY too good to be true. I would be interested to see all the details.

I'm interested! Warranty Direct doesn't seem to offer much to Canadians.
