Should I?

I was approved by BMW North America for the dead pixel replacement program out of warranty. My appointment at my local stealer is today. Should I discounnect my DICE unit before turning my car in for repairs?

This is the same stealer who tried to get out of fixing my lumber support due to seeing my Ipod wire (lying on my floor board), and claiming that someone tried to install TV's in the headrests and a dvd player in the seat! lol.

Also, about how long should this repair take since I am paying for the labor.

Thanks

Definitely take the Dice unit out. My stealer gave me the same language about aftermarket parts voiding warranty and service, so best bet is to take it out beforehand.
