It's been done before but IMO it's all for show and not really function since you have almost no rubber at all.

You might want to add some "ho's" to that "Tahoe" to complete the look...don't forget to add a crushed velvet interior and a mini-mirror ball (they'll go well with your 8-track player)!

24" wheels dont look right at all on an x5. I cant imagine the abuse that would be done to that suspension.
