Plastic Screws Above Microfilter...

Hey guys,
I'm not a car guru and I am trying to figure out what are those plastic spring-screws above and next to the microfilter opening? Theyre the same as the ones that lock in the microfilter opening.... anyways mine are poped out and don't lock in anymore... is that a problem?
thanks

The other spring clips hold in the entire black cover piece that sits across the front of the car. This allows access to items underneath. I wouldn't have thought one missing/broken would be a problem. Sometimes they require a bit of a push to latch.

Had mine replaced under warranty...if I remember correctly the advisor at BMW said the nuts had fallen out underneath or were loose or something like that. So if you are still under warranty just drop it by.
