Unfortunately I have had some difficulty in obtaining trans fluid from my stealer, apparently they will only sell it to shops or wholesale. I'm working on getting it from a different source but until then I won't know if changing the fluid and filter will help. As for your suggestion about the brakes, I sort of wish it were that simple but I know that it's not, simply due to the fact that "sticky" brakes cannot effect transmission shift points. Even if the brakes were slowing the car down the transmission would still shift normally, not rev higher. I'm going to have the dealer do a software update and reset and see if this helps.
