Another rear rattle fix...

The felt pad fix seems to be a popular alternative but was pickin up a few items at hardware store today and came accross some clear disk bumpers...they're thick so i thought to give it a shot. I attached it to the area on the liftgate (rear hatch/door) but, first, cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol...It works like a charm! I'll take a pic of the mod when i get a chance. Here's what they look like...

LOL! That is greaT! I did this mod about two months back! A bit more solid than the felt. The felt wares out and the rattle comes back. These seem to stay solid!

there is a rubber that was added after 2004 i think, i added it to mine and it works great.

it mounts over part#16 (#16 TORX-BOLT WITH WASHER ) it is just a apacer ring and a rubber cap!
