E53 production numbers by color?

Is this information available somewhere?

What is the rarest color?
Why is it that every other X I see seems to be grey like mine?, and the rest appear to be black.

Great question. I have looked and have not found anything.

It would be interesting to see the figures. I have an Oxford Green 4.4 sport package (think that is the name of the color). I havn't seen too many in that particular color.

Silver and Black are by far the most common colors.

For all the years of E53 production that I saw the numbers (they were published) the 3.0 represented 70-75% of total units, the 4.4 and 4.8 the balance.
