I remember when I lived in Brooklyn 20+ years ago and all the Mercedes hood emblems were always disapearing. People would wear them around their neck like jewelry.

I also remember a guy picking on the wrong car, and having to get a lot of dental work done shortly thereafter.

Those were the days...
