Battery Going Flat
i have a 02 diesel which the battery keeps going flat, i was looking at the fuses today and discovered that the heater blower was periodicly running even after thecar had not be run for over an hour. could this be my problem??? if so, any ideas how i can fix it? Thanks in advance |

this happened to me. Replace the blower motor. www.autohausaz.com is good for parts.
I thought only tires went flat... |

You should only need to replace the final stage resistor for the blower - this is a common fault. The replacement procedure is documented here. Parts info here item #3.
The resistor unit fails and shorts out internally causing the blower to continue to run when the ignition is off.
