Squeaky Clutch

I just purchased this SAV and the clutch squeaks like a scared mouse EVERY time I shift.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Not on my X, but the clutch on my M3 had that problem. There are aftermarket delrin bushings available for the M3 (from UUC and elsewhere) but they are a royal pain in the arse to replace. I just squirt a little lithium grease on the pivot bushing about once a year and problem solved.

Mine, and a few other 5 Spd owners have it; mine comes and goes, though mostly comes. There is SIB #21 01 01, though the bulletin describes some serious surgery. You might page "Spydrz", a poster here, whom had the clutch surgery done to his 3.0.

I've had luck w/a tiny shot of WD-40 and also some luck w/a lithium grease...though, the squeak always returns.
Not sure I wanna do the clutch surgery jes'for a clutch pedal squeak. GL,md
