Aluminium trim makeover

Happy 4th friends!

I spent some of the day today trying to get rid of that UGLY white spotty yuk that collects along the aluminum trim of my X5. I have tried all sorts of cleaners before with no luck but finally I think this works...

here is the before shot:




and then after some elbow grease here is the same piece of trim:



This kit from classictrimcoat wasn't cheap at about $60.00 shipped but I think I'm finally happy with the results!

Thanks powers1. Thats the piece around the rear passenger side windows, on my X5 this surrounds all the glass, its a sharp look when it looks nice and shiny.
