Yep, I'm in Mexico, but I'm not much happy with this new 4.8; I really miss my old X5 03' 3.0 F1 (Sport Package)

Feels heavier than the F1, steers slower, front looses traction sooner in hard turning, really, really, really burns fuel and it's not that much powerfull; any how...

Main trouble is Transmission issues: goes all the way to 6th already at 40 mph and hesitates to downshift, so I'm always in "Sport" mode... now it holds until 4500 rpm to up shift.
Stealership will only update software if they change fluid and they do not guarantee the fix, they are already talking about transmission change. NO WAY JOSE !

Also... a flying rock end his flight in my windshield: replacing the glass was flawless, but nightmare has been to have this Rain sensor back alive... They changed sensor 2 times already and nothing good. Of curse it's raining like never before.

Please say nothing to my fellow in his Cayenne...

...And about that Licence palte holder: Is it really missing in action???
