I'm in the area. Are you moving down here? I do not have any experience wit h any indie shops, but I know of a few that are listed in the BMW CCA San Diego chapter newsletter.

I'm in San Diego with an alpine white 2005 3.0. I love it. I just recently ran out on my warranty and have managed to put a total of 67k miles on it too and was wondering about some good shops in the area.

I am here in San Diego. Have an 05 X5 and a 04 M3 that's supercharged. My independent mechanic is La Jolla Independent. Good shop. They worked on both of my previous E36 M3's and he will be my mechanic whenever my current cars running out of their warranties. They are in La Jolla FYI.

There usually is some kind of get together from the people on bimmerforums.com. I would be down for a get together. I want to show off the Intravee which I am so impressed by!
