Some mods

Oh God....started after work at 8.30PM en finished at 3.30AM. And all this just to change the interior from dark smoked wood to graphite (damn console) and installed an AC-Schnitzer performance box. I did a small testdrive and I have to say that I don't feel that much of a difference. Maybe it's bacause I'm tired or the ECU needs to adapt to the new parameters. At least I have no smoke from the tailpipes . I'll do some testruns tomorrow and post pics of the interior.

What does the performance box and the wiring harness tie into. Harness has a lot of connections

Yes...the center console is pain...It took be about 3 hours to remove the console, install the new wood and reinstall the console.

So, the pics of the graphite inserts...man, I'm glad I don't have to look at this smoked "papeldunkel" wood again.
The harness has a lot of connectors as it needs to be plugged in to the module, plus and minus, and all the connectors for each cilinder ignition. It's a bypass (you plug in the original in to the harness, and then the corresponding connector to where the original was plugged in). Not very difficult, but it took me 2 hours to remove the second part of the engine cover. The bolts are just not reachable with normal tools, so I had to improvise (well, I had to think first how to improvise...that was the longest process , but it was very, very late so that's my excuse )

Wow, that looks real nice.

How much did you pay for the interior graphite parts??

Also, what are your feeling about the AC chip upgrade? How much was it and how much hp/tq was it supposed to give you??

thanks

I bought them on ebay, like new, for 150 euro.
The ACS module is definately not worth it's money. I went to the dealer today and asked the bmw guru there to take a drive with my car and he said that he thinks my car has at the most maybe 225-230hp. ACS promises 253hp. So, I'm taking it out and putting on ebay (luckily I bought it for about 500 euro, normal price for this kit here is 2300 euro) and my car is going in for chip tuning with dyno. It will have then 260hp and 600Nm
