Angel Eye upgrade for 2005 4.4

Has anyone installed the MYCARR AE upgrade sold by EAS? i purchased it because it is advertised as plug and play. seems to me that there is not enough room on the drivers side to get to the socket to properly install it.

thoughts?

Why not ask "EAS" for their plug and play directions.

you are correct. the real experts are really on this site. i sent them the pics of the x5 headlight assembly. the response i got from eas was to show me pics of how it would fit on an E39, what the oem bulb looks like and the connector. does this help anyone?

looks to me like the headlight assembly on he X5 (the car i care about) needs to be removed (time consuming).

different opinions are certainly welcome.

I've played with AE a lot so here it is. Yes it is plug and play IF you can reach them. In my 2004 4.4i, I barely had room on the driver side and it took me a lot of time to reach. You may need to unscrew things and take them out of the way.

The longer way is to remove the headlights but then you'll have to take out the front bumper. It's little daunting the first time but after that it only takes 30 minutes to take it off and put it on.

I couldn't agree more.
I would have thought though that
a company selling a product could
at least provide some guidance.

But what was i thinking
