yeah I've pretty much heard everyone come to Wagner's conclusion in the end. The best way to save on gas is A)Not be lead footed B)travel lightly.

I had TORNADO on 2001 X5 3.0 , it was causing ABS,DSC,EML,BRAKE and some other lights on instrument cluster. I spent time and money in BMW serverice to resolve this problem, but they could not find what was causing this. Then my friend suggested to remove gas saver... no more lights on cluster.

This is the only $20 device that is garanteed to save you gas. Simply hit all your car keys with it until they are flat and you'll save lots of gas.

The only way to effectively save gas in your X5 is to change your driving style,

or to change the aerodynamic profile of your car. You can do this by lowering it, or changing out the wide tires you are using and substituting skinny tires and wheels (of course, if you do that you are taking your life into your hands) and/or using other aero tricks and parts.

If you want better mileage, get a different vehicle.

Maybe we need a new Forum:
"WildAzz & Wishful Thinking Mileage Improver Gizmos"...

Maybe shorten the Forum Heading to
W2TMIG or, Dream On MPG Stuff.

... Ya'll gotta be kidding.
