SuperCharging

i see that ess tuning sells a supercharger for the X5. my question is, is supercharging pointless if u don't upgrade all the other components (ie. throttle body, exhaust, intake, fuel injectors, etc.)?

an I6? i have an '03 4.6is. when i was looking at the ESS Tuning S/C, i noticed that it was considerably less than the Dinan. i just assumed that it didn't come w/ all the other parts. i figured that it was just the S/C. after reading more closely, i saw that the ESS Tuning S/C included all the goodies.

anyone know y there is such a difference in price between the 2?
are they that different?
