roof racks

can someone tell me how to take the roof racks off my car.. i would really appriciate it.. thank you

little holes covered be rubber stoppers. unscrew. remove. then unscrew the tails

Will there be any holes left over by removing the rails? I have gotten permission to remove these and am wondering if there will be any further complications once removed.

tool needed to do the job are 10mm sock and t40 tox and 8 of 11/16 and 2 of 5/8 plastic plugs and sillicon to seal around the hole plugs and snap it in
