Roof Rails Fading!!!!
My roof rails on my '05 are starting to look a bit weathered. They had snowboard racks on them over the winter and that's when I first noticed the damage when I took them off. They have seemed to have a dull look over the last 6 months. I have tried Mothers Back to black and that worked for a few days but is there a permanent solution? Is this a common problem? The vehicle is garaged and I try to take really good care of it. |

Mine were faded too. I ended up removing them, cleaning them with alcohol and painted them with some BBQ grille paint (pretty much a semi-gloss finish). The look 10 time better! That, and the paint is high temp too.
