I have to say, those rims look exceptional on the black X.
That 87-style brushed aluminum silver really stands out nicely and goes great with your X. Nothing looks worse IMO than black rims on a black X. I don't get what the rage is with black rims these days. The only time I've really liked it is on a Lamborghini Murcielago at the recent NY Auto Show. And anyway, if you REALLY want to try out black rims, there's a cheaper way to go: just don't wash your 87s for about 3 weeks!

YO!

Thanks all. Another thing I forgot to mention, I checked the length of the OEM lug bolts from my OEM 18" rims to my new rims...they were exactly the same...meaning the mounting is exact/close to OEM specs...OH Yeah I'm an architect, auto designer/tinker, mechanical inventor, so I pay attention to the out of the normal details. Bimmer360, I travel from Burlingame to SF daily...let me know if your around, your X5 looks awesome!

I need to wash my CAR!!! Down side to black.

peace!

Hey Panda, I know this is an old post but can you update us on how those rims are holding up? Are you still pleased with the setup you received from Speedvision? Any obvious vibrations at speed, etc.?
