Anyone have a code reader in So Cal?

I have the SES light on because I left the gas cap undone. Damn thing won't go out. Autozone used to loan them but in California have been told they can't do it anymore.

Why not just buy one? $80 minimum at AutoZone/Pepboys/Kragen. Sometimes they have coupons or discounts. It's a useful tool not just for BMWs.

Thanks...I saw they weren't that expensive. I was thinking they were hundreds!! especially when the stelaer charges $120 to do it.

I took the advice and purchased the Actron reader for $89 from Autozone. Worked like a charm. If anyone wants to borrow it who lives in Tustin/Anaheim/Orange let me know.

It will pay dividends later on. I just helped my dad with codes/CEL from his 02 Dodge Caravan.
