Final Stage Resistor - Yes another one!!

Just got my car back from a 2 week vacation and I find my sat Nav dead, battery obviously been flattened, all computer settings zeroed and the car park decided not to tell me, just handed me the keys with it running... I get home and the blower fan comes on, even when the ignition key is taken out. Bizarre I thought until a search here gives me a 99% certain diagnosis of a broken FSR, (that no doubt ran on while parked taking every drop of life out the battery and having knock on effects).

I've removed the blower fuse, charged the battery and all is well, so I'll go with FSR replacement - great info guys...

I'm a competent DIY, so doubt once the part is sourced it will present any challenges, but reading the DIY I'm trying to get my head around where its actually located (on a RHD car)? There are references to removing centre console trim, steering cowlings, footwell lights and working around the brake and accelerator pedals, but where am I headed to put my finger on it?

I know it will be obvious once the trim is off but I hate dicmantiling without need to, so humour me from the drivers seat footwell exactly where do I look?
