Range Rover connections
As I walked past a high spec Range Rover recently, I couldn't help but notice the NAV display unit, same as the one in X5, obviously technology shared during BMW's brief flirtation with Landrover.
My question is this: RR's nav units also work off road, bread crumb trail left on display when not driving on digitally encoded routes. Anyone know anything about this, as to how it is/was implemented? How it differs from BMW's nav system? Different harware used, nav computer, or is it running different software? Thanks!
