New Shoes

Just had the Vredestein Ultratac Sessanta tires installed on my 4.8 and my initial impression is very good. They ride a bit harder than the Michelin's but they are so much quieter.

I was actually wondering about the handling/longevity/ride quality of the Vredestein Ultratac Sessanta tires... maybe you could post an update on your impression on them after having them a while? And if you don't mind me asking... how much did the set of tires cost you, parts wise?

Yeah no problem, actually theywere relatively cheap, $1196 shipped + $220 for installation (mount / balance), disposal of old tires, and a 4-wheel alignment

So the $1196 was the price after shipping for all 4 rubbers I take it? I am a tech at the dealer, and would be doing my own labor... I am just basically wondering how they handle and last compared to comperably priced tires.

Where did you get them from? I just google searched them and can't find them in my size... my 4.6is should have the same size as your 4.8is

I contacted vredestein and they forwarded my request to an authorized dealer in Florida, then they contacted me and overnighted all 4 tires. If you're looking for your size tire you have to look under the SUV section of veredestein's website.

I bought mine from BONES wheel and tires in TN.

$899 shipped w/o tax. Smooth and quick transaction. Arrived at my doorstep in a few days.

I have had mine for almost a year now, handling is great even in the rain very good traction. I find them to be very quiet, no problems so far. Did I mention they also look very cool!
