How to adjust rear bumper position?
Several months ago, my X was hit by a taxi in the rear bumper, not serious but a little dent. I had a garage repaired the rear bumper, and everything was fine. Recently, I found that the rear pumper position was a bit higher than original setting, it resulted in making contact when open lower trunk lid. I believe that it must be the guy in the garage did not properly adjusted the rear bump when installing it. Anyone here can tell me how to adjust the rear bumper a bit lower (maybe 1 or 2 mm lower) so that the lower trunk lid does not contact the bumper any more when opening it?

The bumper cover slides over the actual bumper support and attaches with plastic rivets and outer suport brackets where it meets the fenders, I'm not sure if there is any adjustment at the mounting bolts where the support mounts up though. But I'd imagine there might be a couple mm worth of slack.
When it was fixed, did they replace anything other than the bumper cover? I'm asking because where the bumper support is mounted is meant to give way in case of accident to help absorb the impact. (crumple zone bs) The small accident might not have bent it noticably enough to catch their eye for repair, but might have bent it up slightly. I'd have the shop that did the repair look at that under warranty, judging they stand behind their work...
