This thread is in correleation with a previous thread about my service engine light that is on and the dealer told me it was the torque converter/tranny. Alot of people of here disagreed and I finally found a indy in the area and have an appointment tomorrow morning. Also there as been something leaking but all my fluids have been checked and are full so I don't know what's leaking. As luck would have it, I was involved in a car accident in another car last week so I have been driving my X5 and then yesterday there was an obvious noise coming from front end , it's hard to explain the noise but it's obvious and didn't sound good so I turned right back around and parked it. Any ideas what could be leaking and maybe the reason for the noise is that whatever is leaking is out and something is running on dry? I don't think I will make it to the Indy which is 30 min away. No new lights are on and the service light isnt' flashing.
