Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta in the snow...

So I took the X out today and got on her a bit on I95 and my main roads in town and the backroads......The Vredesteins work very well......now I was not hot dogging it but I was getting on the gas pedal and trying to see how the tires would react....

I give them a !!

Rich

Rich... Good to know. I would think they are very very bad for snow. These tires remind me of the old Goodyear Eagle F1. They are straight DANGEROUS in the snow.

I am glad they are ok. I have yet to see mine in the snow. I hope they are ok too, I don't want to get another set of wheels for the snow YET! I will test this soon solo of course.....

I have some extra expenses that come first!

Do not use summer tires in the snow or ice, you may get very suprised. I use 17" with michelin studded tires on my 03 X5 3,0dA. Same as the police are running on in norway. Just remember aprox. 2200 kg u have to stop on ice and snowy condition.

Thank you all!!

She is a doll. We are very tired and happy. All will be great.

Currently the X has not seen a drop of snow or ice. I will wait for some snow and test this new tire... I do have another AWD car and GREAT tires for the winter on that...so IF we need to go someplace and the weather is not good; I will rock the proven combo of the R32. As soon as I can get some good snow, I will be out to test the Verdestein's. I would never put my family in danger. The review from Rich is very promising. Thank you!

Thanks again all... Does anyone have a GT1 for a 3 week infant? I see no CEL so I think we are good.
