The Dice Silverline is a great solution. There is an electronics section on the board. I purchased mine from Tom at EAS and they have been great to work with.

Check with a stereo shop to see if they can run an auxiliary connection and connect the iPod to that. Check out the posts about aux cable stuff.
This is not as slick as the Dice system, but it is cheaper and works far better than the horrid and dangerous fm systems. Either way, you will get much better sound. Of course, you could search Crutchfield for a super-duper replacement head unit with nav, iPod controls, etc, etc. and have a far better system than OEM. This would require professional installation and I would suggest using only a very high level shop with experience with the X system. I am going to try to post another hook-up alternative today, one that has worked well for me, so look for that. |

One thing I noticed is the DICE plug does not lock into the iPod like the Apple plugs, it just slips in'n'out
