ya i have, I actually tried to do it myself and i put the headlight in the oven, and i ended up melting the clips that the screws go on at the top. If you guys know anywhere i can send the headlights to and get them fixed, please leave a msg.

I cooked it for 200F for 10 min, it didnt get soft at all, i tried 5 min in 300F and it ended up melting. It ust melted the clips but i want someone to do it cheap.

Its a 2001 X5 4.4 and the kit is BAVARIAN off of ebay.

hmm just yesterday i helped my friend with his angle eyes on his 04 3 series and we baked it for 15-20 min at 200F and none of the clips melted.. try scraping some of the glue out and use a good flathead screw driver to pry it open...

well you are in canada and we are in USA, california.

what exactly is meant by the lens? from what we understood, we have to seperate the black region from the white, transparent region. we had a really hard time doing this. all we did was heat the black portion on the edges where they meet and fold it backwards. we basically ruined the edges and it was still stuck there....
