I've done this many times on my other BMW's and friends BMW's. Piece of cake, so I did it on my wife's X5, once again, piece of cake, but the light is still on for the linings with a new sensor. I never had to reset anything before. Shouldn't the light go out on its own?

I'm planning on checking the connection, but I hope I'm not missing anything.
