2002 X5 4.4i - UNDILUTED antifreeze

It shouldn't cause any serious harm itself, but it will lower your resistance to overheating. Antifreeze does not carry heat away as well as water does. Diluting by at least 30% to 50% is recommended for both better cooling and possibly better freeze point. (I think ethylene glycol actually freezes or at least thickens earlier if NOT mixed with water. Propylene glycol doesn't behave the same way).
In any event, I see you are in OC CA so you probably need to worry more about overheating than freezing. I would drain some and add at least 30% water. |

Not a lot. I'm new to the X5 world myself. Just picked up a used 2006 X5 4.4 about 2 weeks ago.
I can say that I previously bought an Infiniti M45 over a 550 back in 2006 but that had more to do with bang for the $$ than anything else. Both were/are great cars. Good luck with your decision! |
