Ok, so I did an 'ut oh.'

When I was painting the insides, I got a little bit of paint on the outer edge of the chrome tip.

What should I use to remove the paint from the tip? I don't want to screw up the chrome, but I want the paint gone! I used a high-heat paint.

Nails polish removel will be good.

The rubber trim around the 4.8 tips is a must.

So my flares are in titanium silver - as well as the running board fender - i don't want to take off the running board fender thingy (the new fender 'thingy' part is also silver). But i'm thinking the titanium fenders in front and rear might look good.. thoughts??

If not - i'd want them to be black again - how can i strip the paint from the flares if i want it black plastic again?

for front flares i think it only look good on mine X5

sorry ,, that i can't address you for the paint stripping ,,,LOL
