Jerky stop

If I push the acceleration to move from a complete stop (heavy foot) and release it right away, by the time it comes to a complete stop it jerks a few times. For people that drive a stick shift car is like pressing the brake to stop the car but you release the clutch and stick into neutral a little bit too late. It doesn’t matter if the engine is cold or warm, it almost always does it if I decide to stop soon after I start moving. The transmission must be still in the first gear when I press the brakes. It never happens when I come to a complete stop from more than 20 miles/hour. Other than that the car runs smooth.
