Wet Glovebox?

Anyone want to put forward a guess why my glovebox is getting wet..I mean REALLY wet like my plastic enclosed registration and insurance card were like overcooked noodles.

I stopped by my dealer and he suggested cleaning out the drains on the roof and to check for any clogs near the firewall, but I dont see anything..

So before I schedule an appointment, thought I try here first to see if anyone else had this gremlin..

Thanks

get the dealer appointment and let them replace you a new sun-roof drain tube.( it may have jam or bent behide the A-pillar.)

A quick check to know if the sunroof drain, which is the more common culprit, is either clogged, disconnected or working properly is to open the sunroof and slowly pour water directly into the water channel at that front corner, and look into the corner drain with a flashlight. If the water just pools there, it's clogged. If it drains nice and fast but pours into the cabin, the hose is disconnected from the drain, let me know and I will give you some fix instructions, unless the dealer opts to cover it of course.

Here's the weird part.. it POURED here in NJ, and yet the glovebox was bone dry.. The ONLY thing I can think of lately was taking it to a new brushless (chamois) car wash that just opened up near my wife's mom house. That was last Sunday and I noticed it wet yesterday. It rained yesterday and today and it is completely dry, so if it were the drains, wouldnt the glovebox be wet..? I hate Gremlins !!

Thanks
ED
