HELP/Advice installing DVD/VCD/MP3 Player

Hi guys

I want to install a DVD/VCD/MP3 player in my X5.

Is this an easy DIY job? I dont want to install headrest screen just yet.
But plans are that i will eventually. Just want to do it all in small steps.

I want the DVD player to run on the NAV screen. Is there any one with following help.

1) Recomend a Decent DVD/VCD/MP3 player
2) What other parts etc will i need. (already installed video in motion)
3) best locations to install the player.
4) where to route the wires.
5) need advise in future proofing the install as eventually i want to run two headrest screens on it. rear view camera. playstation.
