E53 3.0 and towing.

I'm been looking at a 2006 CPO 3.0 and I'm almost ready to make the leap (the programs right now are hard to beat) but I'd like to know if anyone has any advice with towing around 4000lbs. (Airstream travel trailer) 22ft. dual axle. 4 to 5 times a year for long weekends.

Currently tow with a 2006 Honda Ridgeline.

Thanks in advance.

Should be no problem. I have trailed more than that in '05 4.4 with zero problems.

As long as the trailer has some type of braking system (electronic, surge, etc.), you should be fine.
