brake sensors
A few days ago, the brake pads, rotors, and sensos of my car has been replaced, however, the warning lamp is still on. Then, today, while I was driving my car on highway, something flew out from the front left tire. I guess it was one of the brake sensors.
How can I check whether it was the brake sensor or not. Can I see the sensors from the bottom of my car? If there is no sensor, can I ask the car care center where installed the sensors? (I bought the parts by online, and asked the car care center to install them.) Please give me the mathod~~ Thanks. |

I would look at the brakes through the rim and see if the metal spring plate is still on the outer face.
![]() The sensor clips into the center of the outer edge of the pad backing plate of the inner pad, and might be seen from the front with a flashlight. ![]() If the sensor is still there, to reset the indicator light, judging the system is fully intact, all you need to do is simply turn the key on without starting the car and let it sit like that for about one minute. The light should go out. If it doesn't go out, you still have a problem with one of the sensors. Good luck!
