hid fog install question

my car is equipped with h3 bulbs and projectors. i ordered an hid kit from ddmtuning, but came across an issue when trying to install the bulbs into the projector. the regular halogen bulb that was in before was tough to remove as the clamp that holds the bulb in can only go so high due to the fact that there is another cable that runs across to the inside of the projector. this cable is rather firm and i do not really want to mess with it. due to this cable, i cannot fit the hid h3 bulb as the plastic surround is too thick. anyone have any input on this? i know many members have hids installed in their fogs. i will try to take a picture tomorrow morning to better explain this issue.
