Did you replace the sensor?
Not sure if it can be reused if it has made contact with the rotor.

i dont think the sensor are reuseable after it wears off and touches the rotor. so just replace the sensor. the message will be gone.

They're right, the sensor is one time use. When it gets down to the rotor, the rotor rubs through a wire embeded in the sensor to trigger the light. Just replace the sensor and then do the key on for a minute reset.
